- OCTOBER UPDATE ON NCT SERVICES
Pathfinder Bus, the Southwell Sprinter

Minor Changes to Some Services: 28 October 2007
The following changes to services will be introduced from Sunday 28 October 2007. The majority of changes are being introduced by Nottingham City Council on services NCT operates on their behalf.

22 City – Thorneywood Mount – Mapperley – Sherwood – Edwards La Est – Arnold – Bestwood Park
This service is now financially supported by Nottingham City Council and will be re-branded under the “local link” brand. The service will be renumbered 199, but there is no change to the route or timetable.

26 Lowdham – Burton Joyce – Nottingham
The morning bus will depart 10 minutes earlier, departing Lowdham at 07:51, Burton Joyce 08:00 and Willow Road 08:10.

50 University of Nottingham – QMC – Radford – Hyson Green – City Hospital
This service is operated by NCT under contract to Nottingham City Council and the service will be re-branded under the “local link” brand. The service will be renumbered 190.
Due to a forthcoming right turn ban at the Futurist, the route will be changed at the Basford/City Hospital end of the route. Buses will operate the current route to Nottingham Road/Zulu Road but then operate a one-way loop along Perry Road, left Hucknall Road, left Valley Road to the current terminal stop, continuing along Valley Road, turning left at McDonalds onto Radford Road, then left again onto Northgate and right onto Sherwood Rise to resume the current route.

The timetable will be revised with a regular hourly service across the Monday to Saturday daytime. The service will start later on Saturday mornings, due to low usage at this time.
The new route reinstates a daytime service along Radford Road to Hyson Green shopping centre.

100 Nottingham – Burton Joyce – Lowdham – Southwell
A revised Monday to Friday timetable will be introduced before approx. 09:30 and between 15:00 and 18:00 to improve service reliability following continued passenger feedback.

Buses to Nottingham
The 06:11, 06:41, 07:11 buses from Southwell will all operate 10 minutes earlier throughout.
The 07:31 and 07:51 will depart stops between Southwell and Willow Road/Burton Road up to 10 minutes earlier, but will arrive in Nottingham at the current scheduled time.
The 08:21 and 08:41 will depart stops between Southwell and Willow Road/Burton Road 5 minutes earlier, but will arrive in Nottingham at the current scheduled time.
The 17:21 and 17:41 buses from Southwell will operate 10 minutes later throughout.
Buses from Nottingham
The 07:20 from Nottingham will operate 10 minutes earlier throughout.
The 07:45 from Nottingham will operate 5 minutes earlier throughout.
Buses between 16:30 and 17:50 inclusive from Nottingham will all operate 10 minutes later. This is to give buses longer to arrive in Nottingham from the previous journey where traffic has been higher than expected within the City Area and also to give our drivers more time to unload and load the buses.

Citylink 1 City – Queens Drive Park and Ride – Boots
Nottingham City Council will be making some changes to Citylink 1.
Citylink 1 will be increased to run every 7 minutes on Monday to Friday daytimes. This increase will provide more seats along the busiest part of the route and benefit more customers.
Citylink 1 will still serve the Boots Site but will terminate at D82. To maintain Citylink 1’s frequency and reliability, it will no longer be able to serve the Bus Bays.
