How to renew
There are a few ways in which you can renew your easyrider cards:-
In Person -
You can renew you card in the normal way at our Travel Centre on South Parade.
Direct Debit -
Collect a form from our Travel Centre or, if you like, send your name and address in an e-mail to easyrider@nctx.co.uk and we'll send you one.
Doing it with Direct Debit will save you money, instead of the 13 payments each year that you would normally make for your 28 day Easy Rider City card, we will only ask you to pay monthly, that's a saving of one months travel every year! plus there is the discount for paying by Direct Debit.
This option is available only to easyrider city holders.
Internet -
Our online store is based on the familiar "shopping cart" system. There are a few options: between 7 days and 28 days. Just select the one you need and follow the instructions on the screen. You will need your credit or debit card with you. (Nottingham City Transport does not record your credit card details - the payment transaction takes place directly with the bank).
(A £10 minimum payment is asked for when using credit/debit cards).
Our website uses SSL 128 bit encryption technology. With 128 bit encoding, protecting sensitive data such as customers' details. The padlock sign at the bottom of the website indicates that the webpages that have any customers' details are encrypted.
Your card expiry date will be automatically updated on the bus - please however allow at least three working days for this to happen.
(Please note from October 2005: Internet renewals per card – maximum of 28 days only. As a result of increasing credit card fraud incidents, NCT regret that easyrider cards can only be renewed for a maximum of 28 days via the internet. Customers wishing to renew for longer periods can renew over the phone 0115 950 60 70 or at the Travel Centre. We apologise for any in convenience caused by this restriction. )
By Phone -
Just give our Travel Centre a call 0115 - 950 60 70, have ready your credit/debit card details and your Easyrider Card details. That's all there is to it. Once your phone call is complete your card will be topped up within 2 working days. (A £10 minimum payment is asked for when using credit/debit cards).
Every time you show your card to the reader it displays the number of days left on the card.
