What is Go2? Which colour goes where? What makes a route Go2? I don't live on a Go2 route - what about me? Will there be any more Go2 routes?

What makes a route Go2?

image of a Go2 yellow busOur Go2 services are the most popular routes on the NCT network, enjoying continued increases in patronage, with many of our Go2 buses carrying over 1,000,000 passengers a year!

In a commercial environment, the number of people who use a service determines the level of frequency provided on that route. The more people who use, or could use a service, the more frequent it will operate.

Service 10, for example, started off running every 15 minutes with small buses and is now running every 10 minutes with single deck buses as part of the Go2 network.

Go2 is primarily marketed at commuters, and aims to offer a real alternative to the car, using the main arterial roads and bus lanes, providing direct links along routes that people want to use.

Independant research showed that around 5% of current Go2 users previously used to travel by car.
