What is Go2? Which colour goes where? What makes a route Go2? I don't live on a Go2 route - what about me? Will there be any more Go2 routes?

What is Go2?

Go2 is Nottingham City Transport's network of 14 bright, fast, frequent and direct services to and from the City Centre from all the major outskirts of Nottingham along all the main arterial routes. NCT are working in partnership with the City and County Councils to improve bus services across the City, through Quality Bus Partnerships.

Go2 routes offer:

  • Buses every 10 minutes or better during Monday to Saturday daytimes
  • New buses, with all the latest security and safety features
  • CCTV fitted to all new buses to improve passenger and driver security
  • Regular evening and Sunday buses
  • Midnight departures from the City Centre on Monday to Saturday nights – ideal for an evening out at the pictures or theatre
  • Low floor access for everyone with spaces for wheelchairs and pushchairs
  • Raised kerbs, installed by the local councils, at major bus stops across the City, to improve access on and off the bus.
  • Quick journey times along the bus lanes
  • Improved bus stop waiting areas at major stops, with new shelters, better information and improved infrastructure.
