Santa Claus is taking a day out of his busy schedule this Christmas to spend a day driving with NCT.
NCT bus driver, Dennis Parker, who celebrates his 31 st year with NCT this year, will be donning the traditional red outfit and putting on his white beard this Saturday 24th December 2005 to bring festive cheer to passengers on the last, and busiest Saturday shopping day before Christmas.
Dennis and Christine, one of Santa's helpers, will be driving one of the GO2 buses that has been decorated especially for the occasion.
Santa Claus will start his day on Parliament Stree t 0 8 .30, heading off as a around the city . Dennis ‘Santa' Parker said, “If I see a crowd at a bus stop I'll pull over and pick them up”. You'll know when he's coming because instead of the destination showing at the front of the bus, he'll have ‘Merry Christmas' instead.
