NCT improves Pathfinder Network with New Omni-Town Buses

New Omni–town buses will go into service today on the rural Pathfinder services, showing Nottingham City Transports continuous commitment to improve the network.

These buses branded in the new eye catching Southwell Sprinter livery offer increased passenger comfort, with new style conference seating and extra leg room for passengers, providing extra comfort for those longer journeys between Nottingham and Southwell.

The buses will be placed on the Southwell corridor serving the rural villages Burton Joyce, Lowdham and Southwell. They will all be low floor for easy access for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

NCT are proud to have one of the youngest, modern fleets in the country, which has reduced by more then half from 11 years old to below 5 years since 2000. The company recognises it as an important area of the business and it is a key passenger charter target.

Since the relaunch of the Pathfinder network in April, NCT has seen an improvement in passenger growth and continues to invest across the network.
