Nottingham City Transport have been featuring poems from Rosie Garner on buses and at the Travel Centre for some time and have created a local following for her work. Rosie, a local poet has ridden across the network, creating poems as she travels. Her idea was to create a unique portrait of Nottingham and Nottingham people using poetry.

A collection of these poems have now been selected and published in a book - Poetry on the Buses Portrait of a City by Rosie Garner. This book is being launched on Saturday - October 15th at 7.30 at Gallery 1851 Waverley Building Waverley Street, everyone is welcome to attend.

Rosie will be reading from her collection inspired by bus journeys through Nottingham. The book will be available at £5 on the night or £6.50 from Five Leaves Publications PO Box 81 Nottingham NG5 4ER.
