Nottingham City Transport are offering passengers two very special deals this summer, to encourage new users to try the bus and to reaffirm to existing users that things are back to normal following recent the strike action.
The NCT Network News magazine, distributed to 160,000 households across Nottingham, will have a voucher entitling the holder to purchase a Cityrider all day travel ticket for £1 (normal price £2.50), this voucher is valid for travel on Saturday 22nd or Sunday 23rd July 2006.
In addition NCT will be repeating the very successful Grouprider ticket promotion over the summer holidays. Families or groups of up to 5 people (minimum 1 adult, maximum 2 adults per ticket) can buy the Grouprider ticket for all day travel for just £3, saving £2.50 on the normal price.
This ticket can be bought on bus simply by requesting a Grouprider and putting £3 in the hopper, the special price runs throughout the school holidays from Monday 24th July to Sunday 3rd September 2006.
Mark Fowles MD for NCT stated:
“Our Grouprider promotion last summer was very successful and attracted new passengers who continued to use NCT services thereafter, we are delighted to repeat this offer again and hope that people will try NCT services during their leisure time, enjoy the experience and realise that bus travel is a viable option for many journey requirements – cheaper and hassle free and continue to use us more in the future.”
