Turning Point Latest - City Centre Bus Stop Changes

A small number of changes to bus stops in the City Centre will be introduced from Sunday 15th January 2006, as the latest stage of the Turning Point project gets under way. Most services which have been using temporary stops since October last year will be relocated to their normal, permanent terminal stop.

In detail, the changes are:

Navy line 3, 4 and 49A for Clifton will be relocated back to the Victoria Centre Clock Tower

Pink line 28, 29, 30 and 193 for Bilborough and Wollaton will relocate from their temporary Burton Street stop to Victoria Centre Milton Street, stop VG which is the permanent terminal stop for these routes

Orange line 35, 36, 37 and 38 for Derby Road, QMC, Beeston and Wollaton will be relocated from Victoria Centre Milton Street to temporary stops on Burton Street, opposite the City Treasury. This is to allow for kerb and pavement works to commence at the Victoria Centre

Blue line 40, 41 and 42 to St Anns will relocate from Victoria Centre Clock Tower to Victoria Centre Milton Street, stop VH which is the permanent terminal stop for these routes

Turquoise line 60, 62 for Bulwell will be relocated back to the Victoria Centre Clock Tower

Social services 93, 94, 192 and 195 to western estates will be relocated back to the Victoria Centre Clock Tower

Further details about Turning Point and the effect of roadworks on NCT bus services is available from the NCT Travel Centre on 0115 950 60 70 or at the dedicated Roadworks section of the NCT website: www.nctx.co.uk.
