Holiday Season Buses 2007/8 and Christmas Travel Deal
NCT bus service levels over the Christmas and New Year period will be revised to reflect the lower levels of demand for commuter services, whilst at the same time providing capacity during the daytime for the many people who travel by bus for shopping and leisure during the holiday period.
There will be no NCT services operating on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day with a normal Saturday timetable operating on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, but with buses finishing earlier than normal between 19:00 and 20:00.
In summary, NCT buses, the Travel Centre shop and Call Centre will open as follows over the holiday period:

There are some variations to services, as shown below:
• Citylink 1 and Citylink 2 will operate a normal Monday to Friday timetable on 24th, 27th, 28th and 31st December, with last buses around 20:00 on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
• Go2 Night buses – N6, N27, N28, N36, N48, N58, N77 and N89 will operate as normal on Friday 28th/Saturday 29th December and Saturday 29th December/Sunday 30th December, but not on those weekdays where a Saturday timetable is operating.
• On 24th, 27th, 28th and 31st December, although a Saturday timetable will be operating, holders of City and County Council Concessionary cards are reminded that normal Monday to Friday travel concessions apply.
As a Christmas travel bonus for passengers, all Easyrider City and Easyrider <18 card holders renewing their travel card before 15:00 on Saturday 22 December 2007 for 28 days or more will receive a free week’s travel, courtesy of NCT. Direct Debit customers have been advised of their reduced December payment.
