Liz Taylor is a Regular Nottingham City Transport Bus Rider

Liz Taylor is one of the famous names who regularly travels on NCT buses with an Easyrider smartcard, and is working with NCT to promote bus travel in the city.

Liz features in the NCT new Go2 adverts which will appear around the city on poster sites, buses and other publicity material this autumn. Liz who uses her pass several times a week said “I have been using NCT buses for many years now and find them the best way to travel around the city, Go2 services are fast, frequent and direct and with my Easyrider card I can travel from less than £1 per day” Liz Taylor actually lives in St Ann’s in Nottingham and was pleased when NCT approached her to become part of their famous names advertising campaign. She continued “I am pleased to work with NCT to promote this excellent service and it is fun to be famous for once”. Other famous names used in the advertising are Paul McKenna and Will Smith. NCT are looking out for more passengers with famous names for this campaign and invite other customers to contact them for consideration. Nicola Tidy Marketing Director for NCT said “We are really pleased to use an advertising approach which uses real passengers, it’s a bit of fun using famous names and we really hope that we can include more passengers in the future”

NCT operate 14 Go2 routes along all the major corridors into the city. These routes run at least every 10 minutes during the daytime and continue until midnight with modern new buses. The cheapest and easiest way for NCT passengers to travel is with an Easyrider card. There is one for regular passengers: Easyrider City offering unlimited all day travel from less than £1 a day. For less regular travellers there is the pay as you go option Easyrider Anytime providing unlimited all day travel from £2 per day saving 70p compared to the on bus CityRider ticket. There is also an under 18 years Easyrider card for young people.

Passengers can purchase Easyrider cards from the NCT Travel Centre in the Old Market Square and can top these up at the Travel Centre or remotely by telephone, internet and Direct Debit for Easyrider City and <18 card holders.
