In addition to the forthcoming changes to Yellow and Turquoise line bus services in the north-west of the City from Sunday 25 March 2007, NCT will be making changes to some other routes following passenger feedback. The main improvements include:
- The launch of 9 brand new double deck buses on Go2 service 36 for Derby Road, QMC, Beeston and Chilwell, with a slight change to the route in Beeston due to road and environmental restrictions to accommodate these much needed, larger buses
- Extra Monday to Saturday late evening journeys introduced on routes 17, 36, 58, 68, 77 from the City Centre
- New service 14 from Chilwell, Beeston, University Boulevard, Castle Boulevard to City Centre, offering improved links to Broad Marsh and the southern side of the City Centre, every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes
- Beeston to City Centre via University and Castle Boulevards increased from every 20 minutes to every 15 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes
- New service 16C from Rise Park Brownlow Drive to City Centre via Hucknall Road to offer better links to the City Hospital
- Improved Saturday daytime timetable on service 35 with the 10 minute frequency extended to operate longer
Commenting on the latest changes, Anthony Carver-Smith NCT Network Development and Quality Controller said, NCT is regularly reviewing the bus network to take account of passenger comments and we have accommodated passenger feedback to further improve the services and timetables from March. We have retimed some routes (1, 13 and 48) to improve service reliability for our passengers and we have enhanced frequencies on several routes to give passengers an improved level of service.

A summary of the changes from Sunday 25 March 2007:
1 Nottingham Clifton Gotham East Leake Loughborough
Revised Monday to Saturday daytime timetable to improve reliability. In Loughborough, the route will alter slightly to operate along Lemyngton Street , Fennel Street , Bridge Street , The Rushes then to Baxter Gate to avoid traffic delays in the Pinfold Gate area.
13, 13C, 14 City University Boulevard Beeston and Chilwell
New service 14 is introduced between Chilwell, Beeston and City (replacing service 13C and part of route 36 in the Beeston area following the launch of new double deck buses).
Service 14 will operate the current 36 route from Chilwell Inham Road via Field Lane , Bramcote Lane , Bramcote Avenue , Park Street/Glebe Street , Devonshire Avenue , Middle Street to Beeston Bus Station before continuing along the 13 route to the City Centre via University and Castle Boulevards.
Service 14 will operate every 30 minutes during the Monday to Saturday daytime with additional peak time journeys, providing improved daytime links from Chilwell to the Broad Marsh area. A revised timetable is introduced on service 13, including additional journey time in the rush hours to improve reliability.
The combined frequency on services 13 and 14 between City and Beeston Bus Station will be increased to every 15 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes.
Buses to the City Centre are re-routed slightly at University Boulevard/Queens Road to call additionally at stop UN01, University West Entrance.
15, 16, 17 City Hucknall Road Bestwood/Bulwell/Rise Park
Revised timetable on all days to reflect journey times in the City Centre following the completion of the Turning Point roadworks. Basic frequencies remain unchanged.
Some Monday to Friday peak time journeys on service 16 are extended along Brownlow Drive at Rise Park and will show 16C. An additional late night journey at 23.30 from City to Bulwell is introduced on Monday to Saturdays on service 17.
23, 23A, 24 City Sneinton Dale Bakersfield
New low floor, fully accessible buses will be introduced on services 23, 23A, 24 between City and Bakersfield as part of NCT's continued investment in the bus fleet. The basic timetable remains unchanged with the combined service still every 10 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes and every 15-20 minutes in the evenings and on Sundays.
35, 35B, 38 City QMC Wollaton Bilborough - Bulwell
Revised timetable on all days, but the basic 10 minute Monday to Saturday daytime service remains unchanged. On Saturdays, the timetable is improved with the 10 minute frequency of buses to and from the City Centre extended to operate longer. Service 38 journeys to Wigman Road Top will now show service 35B.
36 City QMC Beeston Chilwell
New low floor, fully accessible double deck buses will be introduced on to route 36 to provide much needed additional capacity on this popular route.
Due to environmental and road restrictions on the current route in the Beeston area, service 36 will be re-routed along Beeston High Road and Cator Lane (past Castle College) see new service 14 for buses to Bramcote Avenue and Devonshire Avenue area.
Buses will continue to operate every 10 minutes or better during the Monday to Saturday daytime and every 20 minutes in the evenings and on Sundays. An additional late night journey at 23.15 from City is introduced on Monday to Saturdays.
Following passenger requests, early Sunday morning buses that currently terminate at Beeston will be extended to Chilwell along Beeston High Road, School Lane to Bramcote Lane , showing service 36A.
48 City Meadows Clifton
Revised timetable to improve service reliability. Buses will still operate every 10 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes.
53 Arnold Ring Road QMC Clifton
Following the revised timetable introduced in September 2006, which has significantly improved the viability of service 53, some minor changes will be introduced to the Monday to Friday afternoon timetable. Low floor buses will start operating on service 53 from summer 2007.
58 City Sherwood Arnold
An additional late night journey at 23.30 from City is introduced on Monday to Saturdays.
60 63 City Hyson Green Bulwell Bulwell Estates
These services are withdrawn and replaced by new services 68, 69, 80 see below.
68, 69 City Sherwood Rise Highbury Vale Bulwell Bulwell Estate
Services 68, 69 will provide the main service between the City Centre, Sherwood Rise, Nottingham Road , Highbury Vale and Bulwell Bus Station, operating combined every 10 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes and up to every 15 minutes in the evenings and on Sundays.
At Bulwell, service 68 will operate the current 60, 61 route to Hempshill Vale, Snape Wood, Hoewood Road and back to Bulwell Bus Station. Service 69 will operate in the opposite direction, as the current 62, 63 route. All journeys from the Bulwell Estates will operate through to the City, with no change of bus required. These services will be operated with low floor buses (fully by summer 2007). Blenheim Industrial Estate will be served by services 68A, 69A with an increased level of service.
70/A/X City Assarts Farm
These existing services will be withdrawn. Service 72 will now provide a limited peak time service between Assarts Farm, Nuthall (Old Nottingham Road ), Cinderhill and the City Centre. For alternative bus services to Assarts Farm call Traveline on 0871 200 22 33.
70, 71 City Percy Street Bulwell Rise Park Arnold
Buses between Arnold and Bulwell will be increased to every 10 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytime and an experimental half-hourly evening and Sunday service will also be introduced.
Between Bulwell and The Futurist, service 71 will be re-routed to serve Alpine Street, Percy Street , Stockhill Lane , Cinderhill and Coventry Road . Service 70 will operate from the City as far as Bagnall Road/The Headstocks, but then turn right and continue to Bulwell Bus Station.
From Bulwell, service 71 will follow the existing route through to Arnold with service 70 replacing the 71A route to Arnold , but the 70 will serve Hartcroft Road and Oxclose Lane instead of Chippenham Road and Gladehill Road .
Services 70 and 71 will each operate every 20 minutes during the Monday to Saturday daytime and hourly in the evenings and on Sundays, giving a combined service every 10 minutes during the daytime and half-hourly in the evenings and on Sundays on common sections of route.
72 City Sherwood Rise Heathfield Estate Bulwell
Existing service 72 (City Bulwell) is replaced by new route 80 see below.
73, 74 Bulwell Services
These services are replaced by the City Council's Bulwell local link service see below.
77 City Aspley Lane Strelley Estate
Monday to Friday daytime frequency increased to every 8 minutes to provide additional capacity on this popular service between the City and Strelley. In the Monday to Saturday early evenings, buses will be increased to operate to every 15 minutes. An additional late night journey at 23.30 from City is introduced on Monday to Saturdays. On Sundays, an additional journey from City at 09.05 is introduced.
78, 79 City Nuthall Road Strelley / Bulwell
These services are increased to each operate every 20 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes, giving a combined service every 10 minutes between City and Bar Lane . On Sundays, service 78 will operate at regular hourly intervals. These buses will be converted to low floor in 2008.
80, 80X, 81 City Hyson Green Heathfield Estate Bulwell
New services replacing parts of existing route 60, 62 and 72.
From the City Centre, buses will follow the existing 60, 62 route to Hyson Green ASDA / Radford Road, turning right on to Northgate then Nottingham Road, Perry Road, Hucknall Road, City Hospital, Heathfield Estate, Park Lane, Brooklyn Road, Piccadilly, Highbury Road to Bulwell Bus Station.
Buses will operate every 30 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes with some additional peak time journeys between City and Heathfield Estate on Mondays to Fridays. Service 81 will provide a small number of early morning journeys from Bulwell, direct along Highbury Road , Vernon Road to Hyson Green and the City Centre.
93 City QMC Beechdale Strelley
The 09.43 from the City will now start at Beechdale Baths at 10.02.
98 Night Rider West Nottingham
Revised timetable with buses no longer extending to serve Chilwell.
161 City Crossgate Drive
An additional Monday to Friday journey is introduced at 08.45 from City.
162 Bulwell Blenheim Industrial Estate
Service withdrawn see new 68A, 69A for Blenheim Industrial Estate
192 City Charlbury Road
The morning bus at 10.15 is retimed back to 09.30 from Charlbury Road . No change to the return journey.
193 City Wollaton Bramcote Beeston
Additional Monday to Friday journeys introduced at 16.40 from City to Beeston and 17.35 from Beeston to City.
Local Link Bulwell Bulwell Hall
This service will be operated by Nottingham Community Transport and not NCT. It will provide a Monday to Saturday daytime service between Bulwell Bus Station, Norwich Gardens , Morrisons and Bulwell Hall Estate, replacing the 73 and 74.
Local Link Silverdale Clifton Gamston
This service will be operated by Nottingham Community Transport and not NCT from 26 March 2007.
