Mobile Lies
She says:
“Mum, I'm on the bus,'
which is true,
‘Just leaving town'
when we're half way to Beeston
‘and the traffic's dead bad‘
as we‘re flying past Queens
in the bus lane.
‘and could you tell Dad
not to meet us, that's Chelsea and me,
we're going to be late, don't want him to wait
and besides, Chelsea's ever so shy.
and you know what he's like, my Dad'
And I'm thinking, could it be the tattoos
that make Chelsea shy
or the name which I'd say
is odd,
for a lad.
