The reconstruction works being carried out along Front Street, Arnold, have reached the stage where further changes to bus stopping arrangements need to be made. The next part of the works is to be carried out in the vicinity of the Asda store and Lord Nelson public house frontages thus requiring bus stop codes Ar04 and Ar05 to be withdrawn from use.
Therefore, at approximately 0930 hrs on Friday 19 October 2007 and until further notice the following bus stopping arrangements will be implemented: -
Services 51 & 87 will move to the new 1st stop on Front Street after entering from Croft Road.
Services 70 & 71 will move to the new 2nd stop on Front Street after entering from Croft Road.
Services 53 & 56 (Ar06) and 25 (Ar07) will continue to use their current stops in the lay-by at the Library.
