Work is to begin on improvements to the junction of Thackeray's Lane with Breckhill Road in Arnold on Monday 1 October 2007. To enable this work to be carried out, Nottinghamshire County Council has decided that it will be necessary for the left turn manoeuvre from Thackeray's Lane onto Breckhill Road to be temporarily suspended. It is expected that the work will be completed by the afternoon of Monday 29 October 2007.
Therefore, from 0900hrs on Monday 1 October and for the duration of the works the following service diversion is to be implemented: -
Service 25 towards Mapperley, Carlton & the City – operate normal route to the Vale Hotel then continue along Mansfield Road, left Woodthorpe Drive, left Mapperley Plains to revert to normal route after the junction with Breckhill Road.
All stops along the diversion route should be observed.
The service 25 towards Arnold should not be affected.
As the closure above will be implemented by radio control at 0800 hrs Monday 1 October 2007 drivers should ensure that vehicle radios are set to a suitable volume to ensure that instructions may be heard and acted upon.
