Works on Newark Northgate Rail Station Forecourt

On Saturday 6 October 2007 a large crane is to be sited on the forecourt of the Newark Northgate Rail Station forecourt for a period of approximately 4 weeks. Unfortunately this will adversely affect the operation of the service 90 in the vicinity of the Railway Station.

Therefore, from start of service on Saturday 6 October 2007 and for the duration of the period when the crane is in use on the station forecourt buses operating the service 90 are to divert as follows: -

Service 90 to Newark – operate normal route to Northgate, Newark, then RIGHT Queens Road, left Appleton Gate and left Lincoln Street (Newark Northgate Rail Station).

Service 90 to Nottingham should depart Lincoln Street (Newark Northgate Rail Station) by the normal route.

Note:

As there is no facility for a temporary bus stop to be sited along either Appleton Gate or Lincoln Street, intending passengers boarding from the rail station should wait on Lincoln Street outside of the Fitness Centre (opposite the rail station) and passengers on buses for the rail station should alight at the same place.
