For some weeks, staffs from Nottingham City Council and contractors have been carrying out bridge strengthening works on Carrington Street adjacent to the main Railway Station. During the week commencing Monday 1 October 2007 this work will enter a critical stage during which the carriageway will be severely restricted. Although it is planned for 2-way traffic to be maintained it has been decided that, for the safety of staff and passengers, buses will operate along Carrington Street in one direction only – towards the City - whilst the carriageway width is restricted. It is expected that this work will take approximately 5 weeks to complete.

Diversions to services will therefore be implemented as shown below: -

From 0600hrs Monday 1 October 2007: -

Skylink services towards the EMA - operate normal route as far as Collin Street then RIGHT Canal Street, left Wilford Street, left Waterway Street, right Crocus Street and right to revert to normal route on Arkwright Street .

From approximately 1030 hrs Monday 1 October 2007: -

Blue Line services 1, 2, 3 & 4; Green line services 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, & 10 and Newark service 90 - operate normal route as far as Collin Street then RIGHT Canal Street, left Wilford Street, left Waterway Street, right Crocus Street and right to revert to normal route on Arkwright Street.

Link 1 towards Queens Drive – operate normal route as far as Collin Street then RIGHT Canal Street, left Wilford Street and continue straight on to revert to normal route on Queens Drive.

Service 11 to Trent Boulevard ; 48 towards Clifton; 160 & 161 towards Queens Drive – operate normal route to Collin Street the LEFT Canal Street, right London Road, right Queens Road, straight on Sheriff's Way to revert to normal route at the junction with Crocus Street.

Stop code Me15 on Waterway Street should be observed by services 160 & 161.
