What's the difference

easyrider city is a period pass that suits regular travellers using their pass at least twice a day. A photograph of the card user is placed on the front of the card, it can then only be used by that person. Valid for travel within the City Area.

easyrider anytime is a pass for the less frequent traveller who only travels occasionally. easyrider anytime gives discounted travel compared to a normal day ticket bought from the driver. easyrider anytime does not show a photograph, it can be used by any member of the family or friend of the card owner. It can not however be used to pay for more than one persons travel. Valid for travel within the City Area.
Easyrider Anytime and Citycard Adult are valid on NCT buses only. Renew in person at the NCT Travel Centre

easyrider<18 is just like an easyrider city card except for passengers under 18 years of age. It gives unlimited travel on any day of the week, within the City Area for the person shown in the photograph until 21.45 hours. The pass becomes invalid after 21.45, an adult fare is requested from anyone travelling after this time. To obtain your easyrider<18 card you must show proof of age when purchasing your first card from the NCT Travel Centre in the Market Square. Valid for travel within the City Area.

easyrider farecard is like an electronic purse, it can be used to purchase tickets on South Notts and Pathfinder buses outside of the City Area. Tickets purchased with a farecard are given an automatic discount.
Farecard does not show a photograph and can be used by the card holder to purchase tickets for friends and family.
Farecard is not valid on the tram.

How do I use it? When you get on the bus, hold your anytime card in front of the reader unit. When you hear a beep and a green light shows your card has been accepted, show your card to the driver on the bus and move to your seat - it's as easy as that. Your card has now been activated for one whole days travel on NCT's buses, just use it all day as many times as you wish at no extra charge.
When you next decide to travel by bus, it might be in 3 days time, it might be in two weeks time, just hold it to the reader unit and away you go for another days travel. |
