The Engineering Department have vacancies for three experienced skilled fitters to work from our garages based at either Parliament Street or Trent Bridge in Nottingham, or at our Gotham garage.

Principal Responsibilities
Required to carry out preventative maintenance and repair work to company vehicles. Periodic inspection and associated routine maintenance and servicing, fault diagnosis, breakdown attendance giving technical support and assistance to breakdown crews, ability to work closely with other trades and members of staff to ensure the smooth daily operation of the engineering department.

Skills and Experience
The possession of a PCV or HGV license is essential; however the ability to train towards and obtain a PCV licence would be acceptable.

The ideal candidates will also possess the following:

• a recognised apprenticeship
• previous experience in a similar role
• experience in inspection, maintenance, servicing and fault diagnosis

Rate of pay is £11.15 per hour, working shifts between the hours of 06:00 and 21:30 for 37 hours per week Monday to Friday . In addition there is scheduled overtime working on Saturday and Sunday.
