You will need to be friendly and approachable along with good communication skills.

Experience is not essential as NCT is willing to train the right candidates on the Bus Driver Training programme. This is designed to provide the support necessary to enable you to learn and develop the skills that will allow you, to step into a variety of job opportunities with regard to driving a bus and meeting customer needs.

The Course is a hands-on course that will lead to a Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) driver’s license for automatic and semi automatic vehicles (a legal requirement to drive a bus). As a new starter you will be required to work towards a NVQII in Road Passenger Transport.

We also wish to hear from drivers who already hold a PCV licence.
