About

Nottingham City Transport is the principal bus operator in Greater Nottingham, with 340 buses providing a comprehensive network of services acrossthe city, 7 days a week. Our Pathfinder and South Notts buses also travel beyond the city boundary to provide daily services between Nottingham and East Leake, Gotham, Loughborough and Southwell.

NCT also operates flagship contract services on behalf of Nottingham City Council. These include the very popular Queen’s Drive and Racecourse Park & Ride services, as well as the Nottingham Skylink service to East Midlands Airport. In addition, many of the Local Link services are also operated by NCT to provide an integrated transport network in the City.

NCT was ‘privatised’ in 1986 and Nottingham City Council held 100% equity of the company until 2000, when Transdev PLC the UK arm of the French multi national transport operator acquired an effective 18% stake in the company.
