Pathfinder buses are changing colour

This summer, we’re bringing newer, greener buses to Pathfinder as part of a significant investment in our fleet that sees our fleet-wide emissions reduce by 90%.

The existing Pathfinder buses will be replaced by buses less than half their age, which have comfier seats to give you a more pleasant and comfortable journey. We’ll also be fitting USB chargers to these buses in the coming months too.

Emissions from these newer buses will be significantly lower than the existing buses, improving air quality along the route and making journeys even greener – and lilac too!

The new Pathfinder buses will be changing colour and will have Lilac fronts. The Pathfinder name will stay, but from 1st September 2019, we’ll be renumbering the 100 to 26 and the N100 to N26. These changes bring the service in line with other NCT buses that operate along Carlton Road.
