Nottingham City Transport is once again slashing the price of its popular Grouprider ticket for half-term.
From this Saturday 17th October right through to Sunday 1st November, Grouprider tickets will be half-price, meaning that up to 5 people (min 1 adult, max 2 adults) can make unlimited journeys on the City bus network for only £4.50 per day!
With lots of Nottingham’s top attractions also offering half-term discounts when a Grouprider ticket is presented – including 2 for 1 entry to the Framework Knitters’ Museum in Ruddington, £1 off the City of Caves and Galleries of Justice, and kids go free at Nottingham Castle – half-term is set to be fun-packed for many NCT customers.
“Our half-price Grouprider ticket during school holidays is always incredibly popular, with families in particular,” says NCT Marketing Manager Anthony Carver-Smith. “Not only does it offer parents fantastic value for money when travelling around the city, with the entry free discounts, but lots of kids enjoy the novelty of hopping on the bus!”
Having one of the newest fleets in the country with audio ‘next stop’ announcements, real-time departure info at stops and online, and free Wi-Fi now on all routes, NCT continues to be one of the only bus operators outside London to increase its passenger numbers year on year.
Grouprider tickets can be purchased from the driver at any time of the day from Saturday 17th October through to Sunday 1st November inclusive. Outside the school holidays, Grouprider tickets are £4.50 all day at the weekends and after 17:00 every weekday.
