Withdrawal of Weekly Tickets Bought on the Bus

From Sunday 18 June 2017, Weekly Tickets will no longer be sold on the bus from drivers on services 1, 26/C, 46, 47 or 100.

This is due to a significant reduction in the number of Weekly Tickets sold since Easyrider Mobile Phone ticketing and Easyrider Further cards were introduced. The following alternatives are available:

Switch to Easyrider:

Our Easyrider Further smart cards continue to offer discounted travel and can be used for unlimited journeys on every NCT service, not just the single route a Weekly Ticket is purchased on. Easyrider cards are purchased from the NCT Travel Centre (NG1 2JS) and can then be topped up online or by telephone. For Under 19 cards, proof of age is required.

  • Adult: £22
  • Under 19: £14.25

If you use a Weekly Ticket between Nottingham and Lowdham only, switch to Easyrider Everyday where tickets are £16 for an Adult and £8.25 for Under 19s.

Switch to Easyrider Mobile:

If you only travel on any 5 consecutive days per week, you can buy a 5 day ticket through the NCTX Buses app. Pay with Apple Pay or your debit/credit card and then just show your active ticket to the driver when you board the bus.

A 5 day Network Rider ticket can be used for unlimited journeys on every NCT service, not just the single route a Weekly Ticket is purchased on. For Under 19 cards, age verification is required.

  • Adult: £20
  • Under 19: £15
