Nottingham City Transport has introduced 7 brand new buses onto South Notts route 1, which operates between Nottingham, Clifton, East Leake and Loughborough.

In 2012 Nottingham City Transport launched its ‘Search for a Clifton Superhero’ campaign as a way of celebrating NCT buses serving Clifton Estate for an incredible 60 years. Local people were asked to nominate ‘anyone who lives, works or studies in Clifton who has gone the extra mile by putting significant energy, commitment and effort into the local community.’ And the winner would get to have their very own NCT bus named after them.
