August Bank Holiday 2024

Monday 26th August is a Bank Holiday Monday, which affects our bus service levels and opening hours of the Call Centre and Travel Centre.

Bus Services

A Sunday timetable will operate on Bank Holiday Monday. You can view times in the NCTX Buses app and on our website.

Navy 49X to Boots will operate to its Saturday times on the Bank Holiday Monday, based on core shift times.

Concessionary Passes

Concessionary passes will be valid all day on Bank Holiday Monday.

Travel Centre and Call Centre

These will both be closed on Bank Holiday Monday, re-opening on Tuesday 27th August 2024. 

On Bank Holiday weekends, please ensure you top up your Easyrider by 15:00 on the Saturday to ensure your card remains available to use over and immediately after the Bank Holiday weekend. Any online top ups made after 15:00 on Saturday until end of the Bank Holiday Monday inclusive will not be processed until the Tuesday. Use the NCTX Buses app to buy tickets, which are available to activate immediately after purchase.
