Books on Board

Nottingham City of Literature Big City Reads book giveaway hit the streets on Monday, 1st July, handing out free books to people in Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport has joined the initiative, and commuters can find books on our buses until 11th August 2024.

Moreover, the free books will be available in creative spaces around the city, local cafes, and libraries. Additionally, books will be distributed directly to young people through schools, colleges, and local organisations.

This year's theme is "Belonging," featuring stories that explore acceptance, inclusion, and identity. These powerful narratives are meant to inspire and empower young readers.
