Catch the Bus Week
To celebrate Catch the Bus Week, we’re giving away 50 all day mobile app tickets, every day between 1st and 7th July 2019.
Catch the Bus Week celebrates how convenient, comfortable and enjoyable travelling by bus can be.
As well as the benefits of being able to read a book, catch up on emails, update your status or just look out of the window while travelling from A to B, there are many important reasons why it’s good to catch the bus:
- Buses are better for the environment with our modern double deckers emitting less than an average family diesel car!
- Buses reduce congestion with fully loaded double deck buses capable of taking up to 86 cars off the road. On Mansfield Road, buses make up just 5% of the traffic at rush hour but carry 48% of the people!
- Buses boost the economy as they provide crucial access to City Centres and carry more commuters every day than all other forms of public transport combined!
- Buses are vital for society as they keep people connected with family, friends and their local communities as well as helping people access jobs, healthcare, education and training
So you can see that your choice to travel by bus is having a massive impact on making Nottingham a better place and to thank you, we’re giving away 50 free all day tickets, every day!
These tickets offer unlimited use for 24 hours on every NCT bus in Nottingham. If you don’t have the NCTX Buses app already, don’t worry because if you’re a lucky winner, you’ll be sent details on how to download it and redeem your ticket.
