Milk on the Moove!

19 days ago Mon 1st Apr 2019

With their cows already helping to provide the fuel that powers our fleet of bio-gas buses, we're delighted to be working with Stonebridge City Farm on our latest initiative, Milk on the Moove!

We clearly mooved some of you with the udderly brilliant idea of picking up fresh milk on the bus, but yes, it was an April Fools!

Our thanks to Stonebridge City Farm for their support in making this video and Nottingham City Transport is making a donation of £2,500 to support their work as a visitor centre, education centre and a training centre.

Stonebridge City Farm is a city farm in St. Ann’s, Nottingham, who look after a range of animals, large and small and grow seasonal vegetables and herbs. They also have a playground, café and shop.

The farm is open seven days a week to visitors who can enjoy a ‘small slice of the countryside in the heart of the city’. Admission is free to remain accessible to everyone, although they encourage donations to help run the farm.

You can support their vital work too by visiting the farm (just off Carlton Road on a Lilac Line bus) or by donating through their website: www.stonebridgecityfarm.com/donate/
