Mount Street Closure

This disruption is no longer in place.

Contractors are to carry out essential work which will require the closure of Mount Street in the City Centre.

This closure will be in place on Sunday 14th January from the start of service until approx. 17:00

As a result, the following diversions will be in place:

  • Navy 1, 3, 48: Buses will remain on Maid Marian Way, using stop M2 (outside the lighting shop) as their terminal point.
    • Stops on Beastmarket Hill, labelled B2 and B3 will not be served.
  • Green 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10/C, 11/C: Buses will be normal route along Parliament Street. At the junction of Market Street buses will carry straight on along Upper Parliament Street to resume normal route at the Derby Road Island.
    • The stops on Angel Row, labelled A1 and A2 will not be served, passengers should instead use stop code M1 on Maid Marian Way.
  • Orange 34: Buses will be normal route along Parliament Street. At the junction of Market Street buses will carry straight on along Upper Parliament Street to resume normal route at the Derby Road Island.
    • The stop labelled Angel Row A3 cannot be served, passengers should instead use stop code U4 on Upper Parliament Street.
  • Orange 35/B, 36: Buses will be normal route along Parliament Street. At the junction of Market Street buses will carry straight on along Upper Parliament Street to resume normal route at the Derby Road Island.
    • The stop labelled Angel Row A4 cannot be served, passengers should instead use stop code U4 on Upper Parliament Street.
