Robin Hood Marathon 2017

This disruption is no longer in place.

The annual Robin Hood Marathon takes place on Sunday 24 September 2017.

The Marathon will affect Navy 1/B, 3; Green 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10/C, 11/C; Pink 28, 30; Orange 34, 35, 36; Red 44 and Navy 48/X and details of how these services will operate during the Marathon are shown below.

Pink 30 and Orange 34 will be suspended for the morning because there are no suitable diversion routes available to use when the marathon is underway.

This year, London Road will be closed in both directions at the start of the marathon and buses will not be able to serve Trent Bridge between 09:20 and 10:20 and are diverting via Lady Bay Bridge. People heading to the Marathon will need to ensure they have boarded a bus from the City Centre by 9am to be able to reach the Trent Bridge area.

We are, once again, working closely with NET trams and will be running our Navy 1, 3, 48 and Orange 35, 36 buses to and from the Meadows Way West tram stop. Customers will then be able to use their NCT tickets on the tram to make their journey between the Meadows Way West tram stop and the City Centre.

Services are likely to face some delay during the Marathon and we strongly advise customers leave plenty of extra time for their journeys.

The times shown below are approximate and are based on the times issued by the marathon organisers. Diversions may change at short notice and we will keep customers updated through our Twitter Feed.
