Reinstatement of the A1 and A2

Before travelling, parents/guardians and pupils must read and familiarise themselves with the Safer Travel Guidance issued by the government, which is available in full here.

Pupils who can attend school by walking, cycling or being dropped off in a car are encouraged to do so, to ensure there is sufficient capacity on the buses for those who have no alternative available. A limited service is currently operating on our network.

You MUST NOT travel on our buses if you:

  • are experiencing any coronavirus symptoms
  • are self-isolating as a result of coronavirus symptoms or sharing a household with somebody with symptoms
  • are clinically extremely vulnerable

Facial coverings are advised by the government when using public transport and pupils should bring hand sanitiser with them to use before and after travelling. On the bus, sit apart from other people where possible, using window seats only.

From Monday 15th June 2020, the A1 and A2 school buses will operate as some secondary schools re-open on a limited basis for Years 10 and 12.

The timetables for the A1 and A2 are available here.
