  • Beechdale Road

    9th Nov 2023 onwards

    Works are taking place to upgrade facilities along Beechdale Road, Hollington Road and Wigman Road to create a safer environment for people walking and cycling. Click the link for details about this scheme.

    This is causing delays to Pink 28, especially at peak times. Afternoon A2 school buses can also be delayed.

    Some bus stops may be closed at short notice.

  • Roadworks - Western Boulevard

    29th Apr 2024 - 18th Aug 2024

    Works are taking place on Western Boulevard at the Beechdale Road junction.

    This is causing delays to Pink 28 and Grey 53, 54, which can be severe at peak times.

  • Maid Marian Way Roundabout Removal

    7th May 2024 onwards

    Works are taking place to remove the roundabout at the Maid Marian Way / Upper Parliament Street junction from 7 May 2024 for around 12 months.

    In the first phase of works, there are no changes to bus routes or stops, but there will be lane closures which may cause delays to services.

  • Overnight closures of Beechdale Road and Ring Road

    5th - 12th Aug 2024

    Each night between 22:00 and 06:00 from 5th August until 11th August, the Ring Road and Beechdale Road will be partially closed.

    During these times the following diversions will be in place:

    Pink 28 towards City will divert via the full length of Glaisdale Drive and Wollaton Road, missing stops on Beechdale between Glaisdale up to and including The Crown.

    Grey 53 towards Clifton will divert via Aspley Lane, Alfreton Road, Radford Boulevard and Ilkeston Road. Stops from Aspley Gardens up to and including the The Crown won't be served.

    Both services towards Bilborough and Arnold respectively will operate their normal route.
