Catch the Bus for Less this Summer with £2.50 Single Tickets

Planning days out, trips to town or visits with friends this summer? Make the most of the season with our Summer Singles Special — travel for just £2.50 for an adult single, down from £3.

From 21st July to 31st August 2025 inclusive, you can travel on any of our buses, across the entire network including the Outer Zone, at this special discounted rate. Whether you’re heading into town, out for lunch, or visiting family, it’s an easy way to save while you travel.

The £2.50 adult single fare means that if you’re making a return trip to town, it’ll cost you just £5 instead of £5.50. Buy a single ticket on both buses to save money when you hop on board.

No discount codes or vouchers are needed — just pay as normal with cash, contactless, or buy your ticket on the NCTX Buses app. The new price will be applied automatically during the offer period.

Some Outer Zone Under 19 fares will also reduce to £2.50, and the 10 trip ticket in the NCTX Buses app will reduce from £27 to £25 throughout this period.
