Online and telephone top ups take up to 3 working days and are not processed when the Travel Centre is closed. You can view opening hours here.

If you need travel sooner, please use the NCTX Buses app to buy tickets, which are available to activate immediately after purchase.

We are participating in the government's August Free Travel Scheme for 5-15 year olds. We recommend you don’t purchase a travel pass for August whilst the free travel scheme is running. You can buy a pass during August and then activate from September 2026.
