Hearing Loops

We are now installing hearing loop systems to our buses, with our fleet of electric buses and most recent double deckers fitted.

You can see which buses have them fitted by checking the Accessibility features of the bus on our app and website. The routes the buses with hearing loops generally operate on are:

• Green 11 to Meadows and Lady Bay
• Brown 15, 16 to Hucknall Road, City Hospital, Bestwood and Rise Park (some buses)
• Brown 17 to Hucknall Road, City Hospital and Bulwell (some buses)
• Pink 30 to Ilkeston Road, Jubilee Campus and Wollaton
• Orange 35 to Derby Road, QMC, Wollaton Vale, Bilborough, Strelley and Bulwell (some buses)
• Orange 36 to Derby Road, QMC, Beeston and Chilwell (some buses)
• Blue 39 to Thorneywood and Carlton Valley
• Blue 40 to St Ann's, Sherwood and the City Hospital
• Blue 41, 42 to St Ann's
• Red 50 to Daleside Road, Colwick Industrial Estate and Victoria Retail Park
• Lime 56, 57, 58, 59 to Mansfield Road, Sherwood and Arnold (some buses)

Bus users with hearing aids can switch their device to the 'T' position to use the hearing loops on our buses.

The hearing loops are located near the cab door and in the wheelchair bay area.
