Maid Marian Way Overnight Works

As the Maid Marian Way junction works approach completion, the final nights of overnight closures will take place on Tuesday 26th, Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th August.

These works and diversions will be in place from 22:00 until 06:00 each night.

Navy Line

  • Navy 1, N4 and 48/X to City will follow normal route to Nottingham Station then divert along Fletcher Gate and George Street to terminate on Parliament Street, opposite Victoria Centre.
  • Navy 1, N4 and 48/X to Clifton will pick up from Parliament Street, opposite Victoria Centre at stop W4. Buses will then then divert via left King Street and Queen Street, right Parliament Street, King Edward Street, right Parliament Street, passing the Motorpoint Arena, right Canal Street, left Carrington Street to resume normal route from Nottingham Station.
  • Navy 49/X to City will follow normal route to Victoria Centre / George Street, where they will terminate. They will not continue to Angel Row or Maid Marian Way.
  • Navy 49/X to Boots Site will depart George Street as normal, left Lower Parliament Street, then divert via left King Street and Queen Street, where buses will use stop Q3 at the top of Queen Street as an alternative for Elite and Angel Row. Buses will then turn right Parliament Street, King Edward Street, right Parliament Street, passing the Motorpoint Arena, right Canal Street, left Carrington Street to resume normal route from Nottingham Station. The 05:35 journey from Angel Row to Boots will instead start from Canal Street, stop C2.

Green Line

  • Green 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 to City will follow normal route to Victoria Centre, where they will terminate. They will not continue to Angel Row or Maid Marian Way.
  • Green 5, 6, 7, 8, 9/B, 10 and 11 towards Trent Bridge will depart Victoria Centre then divert via left King Street and Queen Street, right Parliament Street where buses will use stop P4 as an alternative for Elite and Angel Row. Buses will continue along Parliament Street, King Edward Street, right Parliament Street, passing the Motorpoint Arena, right Canal Street, left Carrington Street to resume normal route from Nottingham Station.

Orange Line

  • Orange 34/C and N34 to City will follow normal route to Canning Circus and will then follow the Orange 35/6 route along Talbot Street, South Sherwood Street and Shakespeare Street to reach Milton Street.
  • Orange 34/C and N34 to University Park and Beeston will depart Milton Street (alongside Victoria Centre) from the service 36 stop, right Upper Parliament Street (full length), right at the Maid Marian Way / Upper Parliament Street junction to resume normal route to Derby Road. Buses will not serve Angel Row. Bus stop U4 will be used instead of Angel Row.
  • Orange 35 and 36 to City will service all stops as normal to Victoria Centre. (There is a diversion in place for other works happening the same nights on Shakespeare Street)
  • Orange 35 and 36 towards QMC, Bulwell and Chilwell will depart Victoria Centre), right Upper Parliament Street (full length), right at the Maid Marian Way / Upper Parliament Street junction to resume normal route to Derby Road. Buses will not serve Angel Row. Bus stop U4 will be used instead of Angel Row.

Red Line

  • Red 45 to City will follow normal route to Victoria Centre, where they will terminate. They will not continue to Angel Row or Maid Marian Way.
  • Red 45 to Victoria Retail Park will depart Victoria Centre then divert via left King Street and Queen Street, right Parliament Street where buses will use stop P4 as an alternative for Elite and Angel Row. Buses will continue along Parliament Street, King Edward Street, right Parliament Street, passing the Motorpoint Arena, left at BBC Island, left City Link to resume normal route.

Turquoise Line

  • Turquoise 77/C, 78 and 79 to City will follow normal route to Canning Circus then divert left Talbot Street, left South Sherwood Street, right Shakespeare Street, left Mansfield Road to use Victoria Bus Station to turn, left Mansfield Road to terminate on Milton Street, bus stop J5.
  • Turquoise 77/C, 78 and 79/B to Strelley or Bulwell will depart Milton Street, stop J5, at their Victoria Centre times, right Upper Parliament Street to normal route.
