May Bank Holidays 2026

Here's how we're running over the May Bank Holiday weekends:

Bus Services

A normal timetable will operate on all days, except on Bank Holiday Mondays 4th and 25th May 2026 when a Sunday timetable will run on all services.

Navy 49X to Boots will will operate its Saturday timetable, based on core shift times.

Concessionary Passes

• Concessionary passes will be valid all day on Bank Holiday Mondays 4th and 25th May 2026. Normal validities apply on all other days.

Travel Centre and Call Centre

• Normal opening hours apply on all days, except on Bank Holiday Mondays 4th and 25th May 2026 when the Travel Centre and Call Centre are closed.

On Bank Holiday weekends, please ensure you top up your Easyrider by 13:00 on the Saturday to ensure your card remains available to use over and immediately after the Bank Holiday weekend. Any online top ups made after 13:00 on Saturday until end of the Bank Holiday Monday inclusive will not be processed until the Tuesday. Use the NCTX Buses app to buy tickets, which are available to activate immediately after purchase.
