Nottingham City Transport and East Midlands Combined County Authority Improve Bus Service to Nottingham Business Park and Assarts Farm

Bus service improvements are being introduced to Nottingham Business Park and Assarts Farm from Monday 28th September, thanks to continued partnership between Nottingham City Transport and East Midlands Combined County Authority.
The recently introduced Turquoise 78 bus, which replaced the former CT4N service in the area, will expand with:
- The Monday to Saturday daytime frequency doubled to every 30 minutes
- New links from Assarts Farm and Nottingham Business Park to Phoenix Park, for connections to the tram
- A Monday to Saturday daytime shopping link to Bulwell Centre
- An earlier bus from Nottingham to Nottingham Business Park
The full route falls within the NCT City Zone boundary, with all standard tickets and passes accepted, and Robin Hood tickets available for people who interchange between bus and tram.
David Conway, NCT Head of Operations said, “We’ve had an encouraging start on our expanded Turquoise 78 service through to Assarts Farm and look forward to welcoming more people on board as we double the daytime frequency and provide new links to Phoenix Park and Bulwell.”
Mayor of the East Midlands, Claire Ward said: "Following the sad closure of CT4N, we have been working closely with bus operators and other stakeholders across the region to provide solutions for affected routes and services and ensure that passenger disruption has been kept to a minimum.
"Our ongoing commitment to provide a reliable and cost-effective bus user experience, combined with the knowledge and capability of our local bus operators demonstrates the strength of our partnership. I’m delighted that NCT is continuing to deliver, with EMCCA, an enhanced service for passengers travelling between Nottingham Business Park and Assarts Farm on the new Turquoise 78 route."
