Service Change from 30th March 2025

We regularly review our network and will be making changes from Sunday 30th March 2025, including:
- Brand new electric buses introduced for The Meadows and Clifton on Navy 48
- More frequent buses to Clifton with Navy 48 now up to every 15 minutes
- New 5A serving Buckfast Way in Abbey Park
- Minor timetable changes to Green Line services to fine tune the timetables after our September changes
- Renumbering Red Line 50 to the 45 so consecutive numbers serve common areas
- Reinstating the weekend holiday service between University Park Campus, QMC and Broadmarsh

The full stop-by-stop and journey-by-journey timetables are available online and in the NCTX Buses app by selecting your service then a date from 30th March 2025. Printed timetable leaflets will be available from week commencing 17th March 2025.
Navy 1/A/B, 3/A, 4, N4 City
The ROKO named stop on Wilford Lane, used by buses towards Clifton, is withdrawn because of safety concerns as customers are walking off the bus straight into traffic and there have been a number of near misses. The Wilford Lane Tram Stop named stop, further along Wilford Lane is available as an alternative and is located near signalled pedestrian crossings.
Green 5
Buckfast Way turning circle in Abbey Park will be served hourly during the day, every day to improve access to the service. These journeys will show 5A. There are minor timetable changes during Monday to Friday peak times to improve reliability.
This change is introduced following consultation and partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council and local councillors.

Green 6
There are minor timetable changes during Monday to Friday peak times to improve reliability.

There are minor timetable changes during Monday to Friday peak times to improve reliability.
Most buses around Wilford Hill and Compton Acres run slightly earlier than they do now.

Green 10/C/X
There are minor timetable changes during Monday to Friday peak times to improve reliability.
Most buses towards City between Ruddington and Greythorn Drive Top run slightly earlier than they do now.

Lilac 27
The Carlton Academy named stop on Coningswath Road, used by buses towards Carlton, is withdrawn because of its closeness to another stop. The nearby Huckerby’s Field named stop is a short distance away as an alternative.
Orange 34/C
We’re reinstating the weekend buses during University of Nottingham Holidays, with buses every 30 minutes.

Orange 35/B
The Stagsden Crescent named stop on Cockington Road, used by buses towards Bulwell, is withdrawn because of parked cars preventing safe access to the stop. The nearby Brindley Road named stop around the corner on Birchover Road is available as an alternative.
Blue 39
The Cowan Street named stops on Bath Street are withdrawn in both directions because of ongoing construction works and parked cars preventing safe access to the stop. The Victoria Leisure Centre named stops, further along Bath Street, are available as an alternative.
Red 45
Red 45 is the new number for Red 50. There is no change to the route or timetable.

Navy 48/X
Brand new electric single deck buses introduced.
More buses on Monday to Saturday daytimes – up to every 15 minutes.

Red 50 is renumbered 45. There is no change to the route or timetable.
Sky Blue 60
Revised timetable on all days, but no change to basic frequencies.
Most buses between Gedling and Mapperley (both ways) will run slightly earlier than they do now.

Yellow 71
At Cinderhill, buses towards Bulwell will use the new bus stop at this location. The timing point for Cinderhill is moved to the first stop on Cinderhill Road after the roundabout.
