Closure of Nottingham Road, Daybrook

3rd - 28th Mar 2025

As part of the ongoing gas works in the area, Nottingham Road, Daybrook will be closed from start of service on Monday 3rd March 2025 until approx. 18:00 on Friday 28th March 2025.

During this closure:

Lilac 25 will use Arnot Hill Road in both directions. Grey 53, 54 and Lime 58/X will divert in both directions along Mansfield Road and Sir John Robinson Way.

Stops on the diversion route will be observed. The Daybrook Square stops (both ways) are also closed because of these works.

Delays are likely throughout the works.

Daybrook Roadworks

19th Mar 2025 onwards

Due to the ongoing severe congestion and issues caused by the Cadent Gas works in Daybrook, we're re-routing Lilac 25 away from the area, to try and minimise the disruption.

Buses will not serve Thackeray's Lane, Daybrook Square, Nottingham Road or Sainsbury's.

Buses to Arnold will divert from the bottom of Breck Hill Road along the full length of Arnot Hill Road, turning right at B&M to resume normal route on the High Street.

Buses to Mapperley and City will depart Arnold Front Street and follow their normal route to B&M then left Arnot Hill Road (full length) to resume normal route from the bottom of Breck Hill Road.

All stops on the diversion route will be observed.

Roadworks - Mapperley

20th Mar 2025 onwards

There are roadworks at Mapperley Shops, causing delays to Lilac 25 and Sky Blue 60, 61. The Mapperley Shops named stop used by buses towards Gedling is closed. A temporary stop is located nearby.

Roadworks - Daybrook

21st Mar 2025 onwards

There are significant delays because of the gas works in Daybrook.

This is affecting services that travel through the works area on Mansfield Road, but also nearby services (Turquoise and Purple Lines) as motorists try and find alternative routes.
