City Centre Water Leak

The junction of Shakespeare Street in to Milton Street remains closed, affecting Pink 28, 30 and Orange 35, 36.

Buses to City will follow their normal route to NTU City Campus and Shakespeare Street then divert along North Church Street, where they will terminate on Burton Street (alongside The Cornerhouse).

Buses from the City will start on Burton Street (alongside The Cornerhouse) and then divert left South Sherwood Street, right Upper Parliament Street to resume normal route along Upper Parliament Street (Pink 28, 30) or down Market Street to Angel Row (Orange 35, 36).

Closure of Derby Road - Westbound from QMC towards Priory Roundabout

National Highways are undertaking major carriageway reconstruction work on the A52 Derby Road between QMC and Priory roundabouts from late May 2025 for several months.

These works will require Orange Line buses to divert on journeys away from the City Centre. There will be delays on Orange Line services and on Pink 28, 30; Navy 48, 49 and Grey 53, 54 as motorists find alternative ways around the closure.

Some journeys may be curtailed to run only part of their route and short notice cancellations are possible.
