Cheaper Travel for Under 22s
Nottingham City Transport has joined a new ticketing scheme being delivered in partnership with Nottingham City Council, Nottinghamshire County Council and other transport operators, which lowers prices for 19, 20 and 21 year olds.
The scheme aims to support all young people by improving access to travel for work, leisure and study.
Tickets are available on the NCTX Buses app and Easyrider smart cards, which can be purchased online and at our Travel Centre. They cannot be purchased on the bus.
Special prices for 19-21 year olds are also available on Robin Hood season and Pay As You Go cards.
To qualify people must be between ages 19 and 21 and have proof of a Nottinghamshire address. You qualify if your postcode starts with:
- NG1, NG2, NG3, NG4, NG5, NG6, NG7, NG8, NG9, NG11, NG12, NG13, NG14, NG15, NG16, NG17, NG18, NG19, NG20, NG21, NG22, NG23, NG24, NG25
- DN10 4; DN10 5; DN10 6
- DN11 8
- DN22 0, DN22 6, DN22 7, DN22 8, DN22 9
- LE12 5; LE12 6
- LE14 3
- S80 1; S80 2; S80 3

A driving licence verifies all three aspects we need to check. If you do not have a driving licence, you will need to present two documents/proofs. If you are using online verification, please take a single photo that has both documents/proofs in the same photo.
We will need one from List A and one from List B:
