Nottingham Carnival at Victoria Embankment

The Nottingham Carnival is making a comeback to the Victoria Embankment on Sunday, August 20th 2023!
The vibrant Carnival Parade, filled with numerous groups from both Nottingham and across the country, will kick off at 2pm and is open to everyone for free.
On the Carnival site this year, there will be four music zones featuring live bands, 30+ DJ’s and sound systems and steel bands. As always, the music will include Soca, Reggae, Afro beat, Calypso, Salsa, RnB, Soul, Dancehall, Jungle, Grime, Baseline House.
In addition to the music, the Carnival site will offer trade stalls, global cuisine food stalls, licensed bars, and amusement rides for visitors to enjoy.
Carnival site entrance is £6, under 12's for free.
Buses from the City Centre:
From the City Centre, use Green Line 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 from Parliament Street (opposite Victoria Centre), Angel Row or outside the Railway Station on Carrington Street.
You can also catch the Navy 1 or 3 from Beastmarket Hill.
The stop to get off the bus is called Trent Bridge, Victoria Embankment.
Buses from Nottingham Carnival:
Buses return back to the City Centre from the Trent Bridge end of Victoria Embankment.
In the City Centre, buses drop off at the Railway Station, Lace Market, Victoria Centre and Angel Row.
Fares:
If you have an Easyrider, Robin Hood or concessionary card, these are valid to/from Nottingham Carnival.
If you're paying on the day, use your contactless card or device for cash free travel or pay with the NCTX Buses app.
