Buses to QMC and City Hospital
With the reintroduction of parking charges for patients and visitors to Nottingham's hospitals and the increasing price of fuel, taking the bus may be a convenient, cost effective alternative for you.
Nottingham City Transport provides frequent services, seven days a week, to both the Queen's Medical Centre and City Hospital.
All day travel on NCT buses in Nottingham costs £5.30 (contactless accepted) and if you're a regular traveller and work for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, you can take advantage of discounted advanced travel pass rates through your employer. City Hospital
The City Hospital is served by:
- frequent buses along Hucknall Road on Brown Line 15, 16, 17
- frequent buses along Edwards Lane on Purple 87, 88, 89
- Blue 40/X around the Campus
- Grey 53, 54 along the Ring Road on Mondays to Saturdays

Queen's Medical Centre
The QMC is served frequent Orange Line buses 35, 36 which stop outside the Main Entrance on Derby Road.
In the City Centre, these buses pick up from Angel Row and alongside the Victoria Centre (Milton Street), where connections to other services are easiest.
Grey 53, 54 operates along the Ring Road between Arnold and Clifton on Mondays to Saturdays.
