Closure of Mansfield Road Stops For Victoria Bus Station Closure

Works are taking place within the Victoria Bus Station area, which will see services that currently use the Bus Station relocated to Mansfield Road.

To accommodate these works, our buses will temporarily not serve the following stops:

• Stop T5 used by Sky Blue 60, 61 to Mapperley and Purple 87, 88, 89 to Sherwood
• Stop T6 used by Lime 56, 57, 58, 59 to Arnold
• Stop FO10 used by Brown, Lime, Yellow and Purple Line buses to the City

Alternative stops away from the City are the next stops on route, either further up Mansfield Road or on Woodborough Road. Towards the City, please alight at the stop further up Mansfield Road after Huntingdon Street, or the next stop on route outside House of Fraser.

Roadworks - Daybrook

21st Mar 2025 onwards

There are significant delays because of the gas works in Daybrook.

This is affecting services that travel through the works area on Mansfield Road, but also nearby services (Turquoise and Purple Lines) as motorists try and find alternative routes.

Edwards Lane / Oxclose Lane

19th Mar 2025 onwards

Roadworks are ongoing at the Edwards Lane / Oxclose Lane junction. There are severe delays on Purple 87, 88, 89, especially at peak times.

Purple 87 towards Arnold is unable to serve the last bus stop on Edwards Lane, just prior to the Arnold Road / Police Station junction. This is because the layout of the works prevents buses then getting into the right hand lane to turn into Oxclose Lane.

Maid Marian Way Roundabout Removal

7th May 2024 onwards

Works are taking place to remove the roundabout at the Maid Marian Way / Upper Parliament Street junction from 7 May 2024 for around 12 months.

With temporary lights and lane closures in place, there will be delays and extended wait times throughout. As works progress, there will be a need to close some bus stops and divert services and separate updates will be issued as and when needed.

Tramworks - Middle Hill

Tram works will be taking place between 12th and 17th April on Middle Hill.

During these works, our Green 5-11, Navy 49 and Turquoise 77-79 will not be able to serve their Fletcher Gate or George Street stops.

Between Broadmarsh and Victoria Centre, buses will divert along Canal Street, Bellar Gate (back of Arena) and Cranbrook Street.

Navy 49 will stop on Parliament Street (stop W1) around the corner from their George Street stop during these works.
