Overnight Closure of Mansfield Road (Goose Fair Island to Forest Road East)
Mansfield Road between Goose Fair Island and Forest Road is being resurfaced by Nottingham City Council.
The resurfacing works will take place overnight and all Brown, Lime, Yellow and Purple Line buses towards City will divert.
The diversions will be in place each weeknight between Monday 14th September 2026 and Thursday 24th September 2026 (20:00-06:00).
All buses towards City will follow normal route to Goose Fair Island then divert right Gregory Boulevard (full length), left Alfreton Road, continue Canning Circus, left Talbot Street, left South Sherwood Street, right North Church Street, right Burton Street, left South Sherwood Street to reach their normal City Centre bus terminus stops.
Buses will not stop on diversion, except for on South Sherwood Street.
Buses leaving the City will follow their normal route through traffic management and lane closures. Some stops may be closed.
Closure of Sherwood Rise
To enable final works at the bottom of Sherwood Rise, Yellow 68-71 will divert in both directions overnight on the 17th and 18th September. Between 19:00-06:00 on each night buses will operate as follows:
Yellow 68, 69/A, 70/B, 71/B towards Bulwell: Buses will be normal route to Goose Fair Island, buses will then carry straight onto Mansfield Road, left Hucknall Road, left Haydn Road and right Nottingham Road to normal route.
Yellow 68/A, 69, 70, 71 towards City: Buses will be normal route to the Haydn Road junction. Buses will then turn left onto Haydn Road, right Hucknall Road and right Mansfield Road to normal route.
All bus stops on the diversion route will be served.
