Withdrawal of On Board Wi-Fi

We’ve reluctantly taken the decision to switch the Wi-Fi off on our diesel and bio-gas buses from early 2025.
Wi-Fi is provided through dedicated on board equipment, which is now in need of replacement.
As the number of sessions has declined considerably since we first introduced Wi-Fi, we cannot justify the cost of new equipment or the annual data charges when less than 5% of our customers now use our Wi-Fi.
Working with our partners, we have been able to source a new way of providing on board Wi-Fi as a secondary function of other equipment on the bus. This system is in use on our electric bus fleet and will be introduced to all new buses going forward.
