Half-Term Group Travel Just Got Cheaper!

Group travel by bus in Nottinghamshire and Greater Nottingham is about to get even better thanks to a discount of up to a third-off existing group tickets this February half-term!
Between Saturday 15th February until Sunday 23rd February 2025 inclusive, the price will be:
- Grouprider: £6 all day, every day for unlimited travel in the City Zone
- Network Grouprider: £9 all day, every day for unlimited travel across all NCT services in the City Zone and Outer Zone, including Loughborough, East Leake, Burton Joyce, Lambley, Woodborough, Calverton and Southwell
There are no discount codes or vouchers needed to pay the lower price during the promotional period (Saturday 15th February - Sunday 23rd February 2025 inclusive) – just ask the driver or buy in the NCTX Buses app.
These reductions are thanks to the Nottinghamshire and Greater Nottingham Bus Service Improvement Plans (BSIPs), where bus operators across the county and city are offering up to a third off group tickets over the February half-term period.
How many people can use a Grouprider?
Grouprider covers up to 5 people, where there has to be at least 1 adult (aged 19 or over) and no more than two adults. A Grouprider can be used by 2 adults travelling together without any children too.
All customers travelling on a Grouprider ticket must board and alight at the same stop.
How do I buy a Grouprider?
You can buy a Grouprider:
- On the NCTX Buses app - tickets purchased during the promotional period must be used by 23rd February 2025 and will not work after this date. No refunds will be available on unused tickets after 23rd February 2025.
- With your contactless card or device on the bus. When you board, let the driver know you are paying with contactless and present your card/device to the reader when prompted.
- With cash on the bus (exact fare)
