There are delays and diversions in Arnold Town Centre because of roadworks on High Street.
Buses are not serving the Arnold High Street named stop behind ASDA. Please use the stop further down High Street near High Street Avenue for the 25, 53, 54, 55, 58 or Arnold Front Street for the 56.
Lime 56 to City will not serve Croft Road or Ravenswood Road and after departing Arnold Front Street is turning right Coppice Road to normal route.
RTC - A52 near Stragglethorpe Road

Contractors working on behalf of Nottingham City Council Highways Maintenance are to carry out a large-scale resurfacing project on Nuthall Road. Phase 1 will see disruption to Yellow 71/B and Turquoise 79 as follows:
From Monday 21st September until Friday 26th September, 19:00-06:00 each night buses will divert:
Yellow 71B to Bulwell will follow normal route to Percy Street, then divert left Bar Lane, right Nuthall Road to resume normal route from the junction with Stockhill Lane.
Yellow 71 towards City will follow the Yellow 70 route along Bagnall Road.
Turquoise 79/B towards Bulwell/Arnold will be normal route.
Turquoise 79 to City will be normal route along Bells Lane. At the Island with Broxtowe Lane buses will carry straight onto Broxtowe Lane, turning left onto Aspley Lane, left Melbourne Road and right Nuthall Road to normal route. Buses will not stop on this diversion route.
Closure of Easthorpe Street

Drainage works are taking place on part of Easthorpe Street in Ruddington that will require a diversion to Green 10/C.
Between Monday 21st September and Friday 2nd October, buses will divert as follows between 08:00 and 16:00 each day:
Green 10/C towards Ruddington Green or Business Park: Buses will be normal route to the junction of Rufford Road/Easthorpe Street, buses will then turn left onto Easthorpe Street, right A60 Loughborough Road, right Kirk Lane and left High Street to Ruddington Green. The 10C then continues to Ruddington Business Park.
Green 10/C towards City will be normal route to the Church Street/High Street junction, buses will then turn right High Street, left Kirk Lane, left A60, left Easthorpe Street and right onto Rufford Road and normal route.
Roadworks - Electric Avenue

Roadworks - Lowdham Roundabout

As part of the A6097/A614 improvement scheme, there will be works at Lowdham roundabout from 20th September 2026 for approx. 13 months.
These works are likely to cause delays to Pathfinder 26.
Some road closures will be required, and we are working with VIA and the contractors to minimise the impact these may have.
Roadworks - Derby Road

There are delays on service 18, Orange 34/C, 35/A/B and 36 and hopper 903 because of roadworks on Derby Road. The Hillside stop towards City or Jubilee Campus is closed.
Roadworks - Ilkeston Road

There are delays on Pink 28 and 30 because of roadworks on Ilkeston Road at the Triumph Road junction.
The Triumph Road named stop, used by buses towards City, is closed.
Overnight Closure of Mansfield Road (Goose Fair Island to Forest Road East)

Mansfield Road between Goose Fair Island and Forest Road is being resurfaced by Nottingham City Council.
The resurfacing works will take place overnight and all Brown, Lime, Yellow and Purple Line buses towards City will divert.
The diversions will be in place each weeknight between Monday 14th September 2026 and Thursday 24th September 2026 and on Sunday 20th September (20:00-06:00).
All buses towards City will follow normal route to Goose Fair Island then divert right Gregory Boulevard (full length), left Alfreton Road, continue Canning Circus, left Talbot Street, left South Sherwood Street, right North Church Street, right Burton Street, left South Sherwood Street to reach their normal City Centre bus terminus stops.
Buses will not stop on diversion, except for on South Sherwood Street.
Buses leaving the City will follow their normal route through traffic management and lane closures. Some stops may be closed.
Maid Marian Way Demolition Works

From Wednesday 9th September until the end of November 2026, there will be temporary changes to Maid Marian Way and the roads around it whilst the former NCP car park is taken down and the demolition of the former Nottingham College building begins.
We do not anticipate having to divert any services whilst these works take place, but there will be lane restrictions and temporary traffic lights in use which will cause delays.
The bus stop under the car park, used by Red 45/B toward Rivendell will be closed in late September / early October, with alternative stopping arrangements shared when finalised.
Closure of Bathley Street

Works are taking place at the Arkwright Street/Bathley Street junction. To enable these works, the junction will be closed and Green 11/C will need to divert .
Until the end of service Friday 9th October inclusive, buses will operate as follows:
Green 11/C To Lady Bay: Buses will be normal route to Nottingham Train Station. Buses will then continue on Arkwright Street, left Meadows Way and onto London Road to normal route from Victoria Embankment.
Green 11/C to City: Buses are now normal route, following changes to traffic management.
Passengers wanting to travel to Bathley Street or Wilford Grove from the City should catch any NCT Green line service 5/A, 6, 7, 8, 9/B, 10/A/C to Ryehill Street and then make their way along Bathley Street to the Bunbury Street named stop.
Passengers who normally alight at Bridgeway Centre should make use of Navy 48.
Queens Road

There are delays on service 18/A/B because of gas works on Queens Road. The Salisbury Street named stop used by buses towards Beeston and Stapleford is closed.
City Hospital

Linden Way is closed to all traffic until further notice, affecting Blue 40A.
Blue 40A to City Hospital will follow normal route to Edwards Lane, but continue further along Edwards Lane and enter the City Hospital through Gate 4 to terminate at the Radiotherapy named stop on North Road.
Blue 40A to City will start from the Radiotherapy named stop on North Road and resume normal route.

Each weeknight on Tuesday 22nd, Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th September (19:00-06:00), services will divert as follows.
Service 18 to Stapleford: Buses will be normal route to QMC. Buses will then divert along the A52 to Priory Island, left onto Woodside Road and right Queens Road to normal route.
Service 18 to Nottingham: Buses will be normal route to the end of Queens Road. Buses will then turn left onto University Boulevard, onto Woodside Road, right at Priory Island onto the A52 and normal route from QMC.
Orange 34C to City Loop and hopper 901 to Kegworth. Buses will depart East Drive and then operate via Keighton Hill, right Cut Through Lane, exiting the Campus via North Entrance and normal routes from QMC/Clifton Boulevard
Orange 34C/hopper 901 to University Park Campus will operate their normal routes.
Closure of Victoria Road, Netherfield

Buses to City departing Gedling at 23:30 will be normal route to Dr Park's Corner, then left Burton Road, right Colwick Loop Road, right Private Road No 1 to resume normal route along Vale Road.
Closure of Musters Road

Green 8 to City: Buses will depart the bus stop on Boundary Road near to Musters Road, buses will continue on Boundary Road, turning left onto Melton Road and right onto Musters Road/Rectory Road to normal route.
Green 9 to Ruddington/Clifton: Buses will be normal route along Rectory Road. Buses will then turn left onto Melton Road, right Boundary Road, right A60 Loughborough Road and left Rugby Road to normal route.
Green 9 to City: Buses will be normal route to Rugby Road, buses will then turn right onto A60 Loughborough Road, left Boundary Road, left Melton Road and right onto Musters Road/Rectory Road and normal route.
Stops on Melton Road and Boundary Road will be served on diversion.

Navy 48 to Clifton will follow normal route as far as Meadows Way/Sheriffs Way junction then divert by continuing along Meadows Way and right to resume normal route from Queens Drive.
Navy 48 to City will follow normal route as far as the Crossgate Drive/Meadows Way/Robin Hood Way junction, then divert by turning left onto Meadows Way to resume normal route towards the City Centre.
Goose Fair 2026
Goose Fair is taking place at the Forest Recreation Ground between 25th September and 4th October 2026.
Delays to services that pass near Goose Fair Site are expected throughout, so please allow extra time for your journeys.
Robin Hood Marathon 2026
The Robin Hood Half Marathon is taking place on Sunday 27th September, affecting Navy, Green, Pink and Orange Line services.
Some services will be diverted, with Pink 30 and Orange 34 suspended until the early afternoon. Buses on diversion will observe all stops. Services will experience delays.
From most of the morning, we will not be able to serve these areas because of road closures and diversions:
